Today I agreed to accompany a friend to an audition but when we arrived, I was not allowed in and the only convenient thing for me to do was wait at Kith cafe right across the street.
The first thing that comes to mind when you enter Kith cafe is YELLOW!!! It was all yellow. I love yellow because it reminds me of the sun and limitless possibilities. It is also a bright colour which lightens your mood instantaneously. Having not eaten a thing all morning, I was famished and still in ‘breakfast mode’, so I ordered the house-made pancakes.
I was more than pleased when the pancakes arrived. You can imagine why just by looking at the pic above. The fruits were fresh and pancakes fluffy. The service was excellent with warm and attentive staff ensuring you’re well taken care of. There’s also free wifi for you to enjoy while having your meal or doing work on your laptop.
And for those of you, worried about spending too much on ‘location’, the food at Kith is fairly priced.
Once I was done with my pancakes, I decided to take a look at what else they had on the menu and Wa-Lah! An assortment of delectable looking cakes awaiting to be devoured. Every flavour just as tempting as the other. It was hard to resist, but I had to, considering the pancakes I just had. So I ordered an orange, carrot, ginger juice with no ice instead. No complaints there either. It came in a tall glass and quenched my thirst adequately.
I guess what I’m saying is, if you’re ever in the area; 69 Spottiswoode Park Road,
do check Kith Cafe out. You’ll get more than you came for.
