flo (food lovers only) is a halal-certified, casual dining café at IMM that features a melting pot of cuisines.
What better way to celebrate Hari Raya with a difference than to dine at flo. Even if you’re not celebrating, dinner at flo will be worth your while. It was worth every minute of mine, all thanks to the young, dedicated, sweetheart of a chef Kim Jin Myeong, who’s only 18 but makes an outsized impression with her culinary skills. Her commitment to detail and taste left me speechless. There was not one average dish served at dinner. It was all worthy of an applause.
Korean Pizza Croissant ($16)
Served with potato salad and premium greens, this fresh concoction is made up of a freshly baked croissant stuffed with turkey bacon, turkey ham, Korean kimchi, cherry tomatoes, corn and mozzarella cheese. Fall in love with the various textures and savoury aroma!
Korean Beef Pasta ($17)
Perfect for spice lovers, this unique dish is made with their in-house blended base, allowing the rich flavours of kimchi to compliment the spaghetti and beef. T opped off with parmesan cheese, this is definitely a must-try for those who crave a new spin on spicy food.
Their All-Day Breakfast features the hot favourites, flo’s Rosti Special ($15), and the classic New Zealand style pancakes, Pikelet Stack ($12).
Their mains feature their fresh-faced 18 year old chef Kim Jin Myeong’s creations such as Korean Inspired Marinated Chicken served with Korean-style fried anchovies and Kimchi Fried Brown Rice ($16) and Korean Beef Bulgogi Sandwich ($15).
The sight, taste and aroma of food ingrained in my memory has made flo one of my top places to eat in Singapore.
